October is pastor appreciation month. The congregation the Lord has allowed me to serve has been overwhelming our family with love and appreciation since we arrived in August. This past Sunday they presented us with a generous gift, which is exemplary of their generous spirit in all things. We are so grateful to be able to do ministry alongside the wonderful saints of Old Fellowship Baptist Church in Stilson, Georgia. Allow me to say a word about ministry and churches at least in my experience. Every congregation Cyd and I have ever had the privilege of serving has loved us, loved our family, and been a source of blessing from the Lord to our lives. We look back on our time at every congregation and rejoice in all that the Lord taught us through the people and places we served.
